Penelope Przekop is a figurative expressionist painter and writer whose work explores identity, memory, perception, and the inner narratives that shape who we become. Working primarily in acrylic, ink, and pastel, she creates psychologically layered figurative paintings in which women serve as a visual language for questions of concealment and exposure, fragmentation and wholeness, resilience and transformation.
Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States, Europe, and Central America. Paintings are held in the permanent collections of the Fondazione Opera Campana Dei Caduti Museum in Rovereto, Italy, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Caserta, Italy. She received First Place, Juror’s Choice at ARC Gallery’s Mayhem exhibition in San Francisco.
